We cover both the plumbing and gas codes plus other subjects included on the exam. It is our goal to graduate plumbing professionals that are highly skilled and knowledgeable about all aspects of plumbing. The dates of the classes are based on the dates the exams are administered by PSI. The classes are fast paced yet allow time for questions and explanations of the material that is taught. All classes are taught by Ron Anderson, who brings 50+ years of experience in all aspects of the Construction industry. These classes are taught all day Saturday and Sunday three weekends in a row. GPTA currently offers three Exam Preparatory classes a year to prepare students to take the Journeyman, Master Restricted and Unrestricted exams. You may sign up for all Continuing Education classes on our website below. Per State requirements, you must retain these records for five years. For those that do not pre-register, Certificates of Completion will be e-mailed or mailed immediately following the class. The on-line classes are self-paced and can be taken on any computer, IPAD or cell phone.įor people taking on-line classes, Certificates of Completion will be issued at the conclusion of each 4 hour block of classes.įor individuals taking in person site classes, Certificates of Completion will be issued at the end of each class for all who pre-register. Georgia Plumbers’ Trade Association for Continuing Education (GPTA, Inc.) is a professional trade association that was established to provide plumbers with continuing education courses that are professionally taught and contain subject material that will help them in the daily operation of their business.Įach year GPTA conducts both live on-site classes at locations throughout the State and also offer on-line courses. Prior to license renewal, applicants must have completed a total of 8 hours of continuing education. Master and Journeyman Plumbers are required to complete four (4) hours of continuing education each year.
